Enroll at DeLong

DeLong staff and families think of themselves as more than a school; they are a second home where all students feel welcomed and where engaging and rigorous learning happens daily. In addition to K-5 general education classrooms, DeLong offers a five-day-a-week peer model preschool and a half-time English Language Learner classroom. All students participate in a five day-a-week music and PE program, Library resource, there are two Learning Resource Center classrooms and one Therapeutic Learning Center classroom, which supports the academic and emotional needs of special education students in a small group setting. Teachers engage in weekly planning meetings by grade level, working together to address individual student needs. DeLong has an involved PTA as well as a full time Social worker, which bring community partners and fun activities to students throughout the year. An extracurricular coordinator was recently added to the team, they work diligently to provide students drop-in after school programs that provides snacks, academic support, fun and creative activities at least twice a week. The Delong team enjoys welcoming new families to the “Dragon Den,” a fun, family centered learning environment.
